Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To maximize the shareholder value through increased sales, profitability and penetration of the lubricants business and ensuring sustainable growth by presenting, promoting and selling lubricants to existing and prospective customers
  • To plan, steer and implement of lubricants marketing, pricing and activities in line with Country and VE strategies.
  • To ensure proper Sales amp; Operational Planning process


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Develop integrated marketing Strategies
  • Conduct market research, market trend analysis and competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities to assist with the development of VEN’s marketing plan and activities
  • Provide reasonable budget assumptions for the Lubricants Sales Manager that will ensure a SMART budget and good ROI
  • Assist to develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of the company’s brand
  • Deliver lubes volumes and profitability targets
  • Implement the VE Credit Policy amp; manage trade debt and DSO
  • Ensure implementation of business controls framework
  • To provide management reports and analysis on your Department
  • Work with the Lubricants Sales Manager to deliver on lubricants plans and implement Lubes strategies
  • To guarantee customer and trade partner satisfaction, thus achieving targets for market share, and growth.
  • To manage and develop an effective knowledgeable sales force and coordinate all lubricants activities in Namibia in order to maximize total lubricants business value

Stock Management

  • Responsible for accurate forecasting via IBP

HSSE

  • Manage the HSSE targets together with the HSSE Manager

Credit Management

To ensure that the Tamp;R target of overdue and Debtors Sales Outstanding are met

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills amp; Experiences:

  • B-degree in Sales and Marketing or B-Degree in any Engineering Field
  • Proven track record of success in B2C commercial activities with at least 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • Sales and Channel Management in a B2C environment.
  • Work Experience in Sales amp; Distribution of FMCG will be an added advantage
  • Successful in developing customer sales teams
  • Strong interface management skills
  • A passion for customers
  • English language proficiency
  • Valid Driver’s License, role travels in country.
