Job Purpose:

• Manage and oversee the planned and unplanned lubrication of equipment at Dundee Mine and validate the quality of work
• Ensure equipment are always in good condition to receive, store and issue lubricants and fuel safely to the mine
• Uphold and drive HSSE delivery

Principal Accountabilities:

• Manage and oversee planned and unplanned maintenance of fueling equipment
• Supervise and carry out condition monitoring of equipment on a period basis or as required
• Responsible for technical fault finding in collaboration with VE contractor staff
• Implement procedures critical to the safeguarding of equipment including lock out and tag out procedure thus ensuring that a safe environment is provided for all employees
• Ensures that continuous improvement activities are conducted
• Maintains and improves communication to ensure equipment availability amp; promote HSSE
• Take part in and lead toolbox talks
• Will report to the Site Supervisor of Vivo Energy Namibia

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Computer literate
• Driver’s license
• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Fitter and Turner
• Must have equipment lubrication experience
• Must have experience working on Turbines, Compressors, Hydraulic Equipment and Industrial Gears
• Excellent knowledge of plant and machinery in general
• Knowledge of depot operations, stock control and HSSE
• Must be able to communicate fluently with staff
• Willingness to work odd hours
